Gangster: A comic relief for gangsters

Good or bad, vengeance has a quality and character in itself. So does a person who harbours it. A fisherman, bus conductor, washerman or a beggar, all have a distinct character. How a piece of art - be it a painting, story or play- depicts it, shows its merit. The way of presenting it can vary with the passage of time. But senses? It never changes. And cinema still is a form of art that appeals to the senses. Ashiq Abu seems to have quite forgotten this precept before he dished out a macabre mesh of frames which he titled 'Gangster.'

My hubby is the ’sexiest actor’: Kajol

It's been 15 years since Kajol married Ajay Devgan, but she still finds him to be the "sexiest actor" in Bollywood, and says she craves to go on a romantic date with him as they don't get "enough" time.

During a tete-a-tete on her filmmaker friend Karan Johar's celebrity chat show "Koffee With Karan", Kajol spoke candidly about her changed fashion choices, choosy nature in picking films, about the new brigade of actors and of her loving husband.

Navya replaces Meena in Kannada remake of 'Drishyam'

Malayalam actress Navya Nair will step into the shoes of southern actress Meena in the Kannada remake of recent Malayalam blockbuster 'Drishyam'.

The remake is set to go on floors March 11.

Soundarya Pins High Hopes On Rajinikanth's Kochadaiiyaan

Megastar Rajnikanth's daughter Soundarya hopes her directorial debut vehicle Kochadaiiyaan to be a game-changer for Indian cinema at the international level. The veteran actor's most talked about film, set to be released in six languages, is being touted as the country's first to be made using motion capture technology. "I have been passionately involved in film animation techniques and production for the last six years and for Kochadaiiyaan we wanted to do something unique and decided to do this with the use of Motion Capture technology which was never attempted in its full bandwidth in India before," Soundarya said in a statement.
