Teacher attack case: Police get vital clues

It is learnt that the police have valid clues in the Valakam teacher attack case. Based on this, IG Padmakumar reached Kottarakara on Saturday. He will hold a meeting with police officers. Those who are suspected to have conducted the attack are under the supervision of the police.

The condition of Krishnakumar, who is under treatment at the Thiruvananthapuram medical College Hospital is showing slight improvement. Police are making attempts to record his statement before noon. If the police clues and the teacher's statements tally, then the police would move ahead on nabbing the culprits. Though A M Ashraf, Judicial First Class Magistrate, reached the hospital to record the teacher's statement, he was unable to do it.
